New Year's Wishes and Resolutions

Happy New Year everybody! Look what I've found on Pinterest, I like these thoughts:

Do you have any new year's resolutions for 2012? I've never had them before, but to tell you the truth: I've never really got along with 2011 (which is completely my own fault), so I'll definitely want to change a few things this year. Last year I've been really lazy, spending too much time at home on the sofa and gaining a few pounds. For 2012 I want to be more active: in a few weeks, John and I will start with dancing lessons. My best friend will be marrying in March, and the only dance we can do is the Two Step, which is not that common in Germany, especially not for a wedding. I've also decided to do more sports again (fitness studio now, jogging in spring/summer), which I've totally neglected in 2011. Another thing I've neglected lately is reading books. I love reading and gave myself an e-book-reader for Christmas. Right now, I've started re-reading the "Lord of the Rings"-Trilogy. On the creative side, I want to stay with crochet (of course) and I'd love to learn a little bit more about digital photography. What I do NOT want to do any longer: wasting time on the internet, instead of being creative myself; and eating just because I'm bored or frustrated. Since these are my first resolutions ever, I'm quite optimistic that a few of them will work out :)
Have a wonderful and happy new year, and may all your dreams, whishes and resolutions come true! :)

  1. My 2011 was lazy and a little lonely through only my own actions so I, too, have some plans to change in 2012! Great Pinterest find.
