June News and Reviews

Welcome to another month here in k-town! I love this time of the year: it's warm and sunny outside, and there are lots of holidays in Germany (and especially in Bavaria) and the working weeks just seem to fly by.

So let's see what has happened here in the last four weeks: I've posted lots of new motifs for the "Beyond the Square"-Challenge, we've celebrated another great theme-party where you had the chance to show us some striped projects, and two weeks ago I've celebrated my first Blogiversary.

Thanks again for the good wishes and your kind words!

To celebrate my Blogiversary we played a little giveaway game, and the prizes are already on their way to the lucky winners now. For all the other readers and friends (old and new) I posted another free pattern last week. Thank you so much for your positive feedback!

So, what's next? I don't have a big project on my hook right now, so I enjoy making quick little things and trying new stuff, like these cute ring ornaments for example:

There's something else I've already finished, here's just a little glimpse:

I'll show and tell you more about that soon, it's a very quick and easy project, you'll love it! :)

I've got lots of other things on my hooks, but I don't know yet where they will lead me to - sometimes crochet can be a wonderful and exciting adventure :)

And now it's only four more weeks til our summer vacations, I'm super-excited and can't wait!! We've already managed the most important stuff (i.e. we've booked our flights), but of course there's still a lot to prepare: we still need to book our rental car, I need a bordcase and some new clothes, go to the hairdresser, get some tan, and I definitely have to get rid of those last annoying pounds on my hips!!! Wish me luck! :)
