Back in K-Town

Hey good lookin'! :)

John and I am back from vacation and the past five weeks almost seem like a dream - it'll probably take a while for our life to return to normal, after all the adventures that lie behind us, and all the exciting things and places we've seen. Want to see some pictures?

Breakfast at IHOP on our first morning back in Royal Oak, MI

A walk along the Detroit Riverfront, MI

At the Horse Racetrack in Hazel Park, MI

At Comerica Park, Home of the Detroit Tigers, MI

At Niagara Falls, Ontario/Canada

Fireworks over the Niagara Falls, Ontario/Canada

At La Jolla Shore, San Diego, CA

A day-trip to Tijuana, Mexico

On Rodeo Drive, Los Angeles, CA

In Beverly Hills

On the Walk of Fame in Hollywood

At Malibu Beach, CA

At the Pacific Coast, on the way to Monterey, CA

On Highway No.1, CA

On Cannery Row, Monterey, CA

At the Rodeos in Salinas, CA

A day-trip to Reno, NV

At the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA

At Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco

The "Painted Ladies" in San Francisco

At Union Square, San Francisco

You see, we've been quite busy over the last weeks. We'll probably have to live on water and bread for the next few months, because this journey was so expensive :) But it was more than worth it, you only live once, right?

I was informed via e-mail when somebody left a comment here and also received some personal e-mails, but unfortunately I couldn't find the time to respond to your questions - please be patient with me, I try to catch up with everything I've missed in blogland, soon!

I've already started a new link-party over at The Crochet Boulevard - it's a Free Topic party this time, so you can share any of your crochet creations (the poll for the next theme-party is still open, too). Hope to see you there!

The Crochet Boulevard

Bye for now, I hope I'll be back with some new crochet, soon!

I am content watching exotic places on TV but my hubby is very keen as he too says "We live only once". I hope the trip materializes in the near future.
