Motif # 106
Category: Squares
Progress: 15 of 100+
Notes:
A square with lots of back post dc's, love 'em! The only thing that bothers me a little about this motif, is that the edges still aren't straight although I've blocked it with lots of pins along the sides. I can imagine a huge cushion cover with this pattern, something I should keep in mind!

Cool! Do you think it would straighten out once sewn together with other squares?
ReplyDeleteyes, maybe - I think it would be worth a try!
DeleteI love the effect of the post stitches!
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara ...love the color you are using.Cute :0)
ReplyDeleteVery lovely...looks complicated!
ReplyDeleteOh no, this is a very easy motif, you don't even have to check the graphic pattern after a while, because you'll get the idea of how this pattern works very soon. Even if you've never done back post dc's before: they're very easy to do!
DeleteThe colors really make this motif pop. The one in the book doesn't show the pattern well at all compared to yours. My eye never even caught on to the one in the book, but after seeing yours, I went back and looked at it again.
ReplyDeleteI've made one of these too and love it, I've been trying to block a few of mine but it doesn't seem to be working, I must be doing something wrong.
ReplyDeleteoh!! eu nao consigo fazer!! manda para mim o grafico?eu gosto muito detrabalho de voces,são diferente.
